MTECHTIPS;-U.S. natural gas futures gain with weather, supply in focus

MTECHTIPS- U.S. natural gas futures were higher for the second session in a row on Wednesday, as updated weather forecasting models points to stronger demand for the fuel. U.S. natural gas for June delivery gained 3.9 cents, or around 1.2%, to $3.266 per million British thermal units by 8:50 AM ET (12:50 GMT). Prices of the heating fuel rallied 5.5 cents on Tuesday. Cool conditions are expected to linger over the northeastern U.S. through early next week, according to forecasters at A weather system tracking across the Southwest toward Texas will bring showers, but still with mostly comfortable temperatures as highs reach the 60 s and 70 s.
